The CD opens with "Give It Away" - an up-tempo piece that blends poetry with pop. Next up is the catchy "Right Back Atcha" flowing into "This American Life" - a country flavored rocker that earned chart-topping success re-named to "American Ride" by the aforementioned Keith. "Did You Love" is lively and filled with life lessons on learning and love. "Brighter Daze" is a hopeful mid-tempo rocker while "Freeze" features fine slide guitar accenting sweet sentiments. "I Get Up" is snappy and "Smooth Sailing" is pretty with piano punctuating the piece. "Something Bout You" is peppy and "What Am I Waiting For" is wishful followed by the fine storytelling of a star in "The One That Got Away".
