Celebrating 15 Years of Darius & Friends Benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville

by Rich and Laura Lynch

What started with a monsoon turned into an outpouring of love for country music, Darius Rucker, Hootie & the Blowfish, the Ryman Auditorium and the meaningful cause that has tied it altogether for 15 years - St. Jude Children's Research Hospital when on Monday, June 3, 2024 Darius Rucker was joined by a lineup that included Jamey Johnson, Dan + Shay, Ingrid Andress, Chase Matthew, Shane Profitt and his Hootie bandmate - Mark Bryan. A live auction and an additional livestream of the event promised a flood of even more donations from online viewers. Team MCN was on-hand with an assist from our good friend Brian who made the evening possible for us. Highlights are below!

Darius Rucker does it again for the 15th time at the Mother Church in Nashville.

Dan + Shay put their hit-making prowess on display at the Ryman.

Darius called Jamey Johnson the greatest country singer of the past 30 years and it was hard to argue his point.

Darius Rucker - a famed frontman with a lot of friends in Nashville.

Mark Bryan was on hand to help provide a preview of the upcoming Hootie + the Blowfish summer tour.

Ingrid Andress emerged from a self-imposed hibernation to support the cause.

Chase Matthew was thrilled to be performing on the Ryman stage for the first time.

Shane Profitt brought a patriotic spirit to his set of music.

Dan + Shay seemed to be having fun on a Monday night to start a busy week in Nashville.

Half a Hootie is better than no Hootie as the summer tour got a preview in Music City.

The real reason that everyone gathered in the first place - the children of St. Jude.

We can't wait to do it all over again for the 16th time next year!
