Julien's Auctions and "Played, Worn, & Torn" Returns to the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville

Much like the memorabilia and collectibles that they acquire and then resell - Julien's Auctions continues to be a beloved fixture in Nashville with the return of their "Played, Worn, and Torn" collection going up for sale at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on November 21 and 22, 2025 in the Music City. Not only do music fans have a chance to scoop up a piece of rock music history - a portion of the proceeds generated from the two-day affair will benefit MusiCares and that's a win-win that truly sounds like music to our ears.

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025 representatives from Team MCN were on site for an exclusive press preview event where we got to see many of the exhibits already on display in what will ultimately be an over 800 piece selection of true music history that will be made available to in-person and online bidders later in the month.
A Beatles' rarity and a famous Tom Petty garment are just some of the treasures up for grabs in Nashville.
As the blockbuster annual sale returns to Nashville all eyes will be on several highlights including Kirk Hammett's legendary 150+ guitar collection, Adam Clayton's basses from U2's monstrous world tours along with a captivating array of personal treasures from Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, including his infamous signed "Unsafe Safe".

As MCN's Rockin' Rich Lynch perused the preview he was drawn to the rare "Yesterday and Today" Butcher record album from the Beatles that currently is registering a bid of $40,000 - made even more interesting by the fact that we met Ringo Starr at the same venue earlier in the year. In addition, RRL spied the custom-made shirt made famous by Tom Petty in the 1982-1983 "You Got Lucky" Music Video, the "Change of Heart" record single cover and many additional magazine covers. Rich was even allowed to ever so gently touch the fabric to feel the slightly rough nature of the stitching on the garment - thus making a new and personal connection with one of his favorite musical artists of all-time. This simple act really proved the value of these types of auctions - they help you get closer to the artists who made history. Even more so if you get lucky enough to become the high bidder!
Not to be outdone, Tommy Lee is entering many significant items into the mix.
