Noah Floersch Drops Major Label Debut with a Bit of Flair and Flourish at Concord Records in Nashville

by Rich and Laura Lynch

It is always exciting to discover "new" musicians. Recently, we had the pleasure of checking out Noah Floersch at an artist spotlight hosted by Concord Records in Nashville, Tennessee on August 12, 2025. This rising star along with his talented band presented a short yet succulent live show in advance of a new album and a supporting tour.

Noah Floersch and band get ready to hit the road in Nashville.

Noah Floersch (pronounced FleurISH) is an Omaha-born, Nashville-based indie pop singer-songwriter with over 75 million global streams. He is gaining a fast-growing reputation as one of the most exciting new artists of 2025 with songs such as "Ghost of Chicago".

In October, Floersch will release Francis Aquarius (Concord Records) a sensitive yet sharp anti-hero concept album featuring a number of singles set to take the world by storm which he presented at his label's flashy performance space. The relatable "Somebody Nobody Gets Over" explored the emotions of running into an ex and seeing that they have moved on while realizing you never really did. Co-written by Asia Whitacre, whose background vocals blend seamlessly with Noah's this tale builds on a vocally raw and vulnerable charged performance that speaks to the heartbroken. "Growing Everything Out" is an upbeat self-aware anthem about burning the candle at both ends.

Noah put his alter-ego on display for all to see in a press preview that was taped for an upcoming wider release.

"The last album was like, 'Here I am, check me out, and everything's beautiful and great,'" Noah says. "This one is like, here's this really fun facade, but don't look too long or you might see the ugly in me. The music fucking rocks, and it'll move your body, and it's gonna be a blast to perform. But if you check out the lyrics a little bit, there's some poignancy there that is very, very true for me," Floersch has stated in advance of the record release.

From what we heard at Concord, Floersch pens compelling compositions that are delivered in an expressive way that really draws the listener in. Noah explained that the new record looks at the darker side of things in comparison to his cheerier self-titled debut album. After the showcase, we had a few moments to chat with the friendly Floersch and he further shared some insights behind the latest project while mentioning that some of his influences are classic rockers such as Fleetwood Mac and Paul McCartney.

Concord Records warmly welcomed the media in Nashville.

Noah will be on tour this fall in support of Francis Aquarius (Concord Records). The 21-date run will see him performing at a number of venerable venues including Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY on October 6th, Los Angeles's own Troubadour on October 24th and returning to Nashville, Tennessee for a show at the Basement East on November 3rd.
