Shinedown Throw a Dance Party at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville

The record-breaking, chart-topping, soul-shocking multi-platinum rock band Shinedown brought their "Dance, Kid, Dance" to the packed to the rafters Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Brent Smith was a captivating frontman in Nashville.
The band - led by front man and Knoxville native Brent Smith - promised an incredible performance with jaw dropping production, pyrotechnics and an absolutely mind-blowing setlist. By all accounts they delivered the goods to fans who travelled from near and far to catch their hometown adjacent show in the Volunteer State.
In Nashville, fans were on their feet from the first note as Brent Smith, Eric Bass, Barry Kerch, and Zach Myers tore through a set packed with highlights. They opened the dance party with their beat heavy brand-new single "Dance, Kid, Dance" and lit up the crowd with their hit "A Symptom of Being Human". The late show inclusion of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man" featured a moving sing-along from the sold-out arena crowd.
Things got even more personal during a segment that included acoustic renditions of favorites and deep cuts. "Get Up" was performed for a fan named Jace who let the band know he was battling stage four cancer while "Through the Ghost" had Brent scrambling for his back-up tablet in order to create a mini-teleprompter to help him remember the words to a special song from their 2005 debut album.
The 36 date tour continues on with stops at some of the country's most iconic venues including Boston's TD Garden on July 19th, LA's Kia Forum on August 3rd and for the first time ever Shinedown will be performing and headlining Madison Square Garden on July 20th. Shinedown really did shine with the help of lasers and pyro at the Bridgestone Arena.
This year has been massive for Shinedown as they released their two new singles "Dance, Kid, Dance" and "Three Six Five". The former - which gives the tour it's name - already has hit #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, which marks their 22nd song to reach #1 on the chart.
On the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart - Shinedown have become the only band in the charts history to reach 20 #1's on the listing. Not to mention when the song entered the Top 5 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock tally, Shinedown tied with the Foo Fighters for the artists with the most songs to hit the top 10 in the chart's history with 32 songs each. All these incredible accomplishments continue to solidify that Shinedown have made a name for themselves in rock. On Mediabase, Shinedown hold the record for the most #1's, #5's and #10's on the Active Rock chart, with a total of 24 #1's on the Mediabase charts.
Shinedown continues to demonstrate that they are one of the most forward-thinking powerhouses in music, forever pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a modern-day rock band. The tour and new music not only kick off a new era for Shinedown but continue to celebrate the momentous acclaim the band received from their juggernaut song "A Symptom of Being Human" off their 7th studio album Planet Zero (Atlantic Records). The song, has hit nearly 125 million global streams and charted at five radio formats including a #1 at Active, Top 10 at Alternative, Top 10 at AC, Top 15 at Hot AC and a Top 20 at Top 40.
To date Shinedown are the very first artist to get a song Top 10 at Active, Alternative and Hot AC Radio on Mediabase with one song. The song, off of their Planet Zero album, resonated with fans across the globe for the unifying message of its lyrics: that it is our human connections that matter the most.
Shinedown TV Man helped the fiery proceeding keep moving along in Music City.
Seen in Nashville was the band's de facto mascot Mr. Shinedown TV Man who took the stage to open their set and he did some entertaining during the stage changes. Mr. Shinedown TV Man was created on Planet Zero in 2020 when he was "the world's only source of communication because the world came to a screeching halt" - and it's a good thing the group has kept him around - you never know when his services might be needed again.
One dollar from every ticket sold at the Shinedown show benefitted the Nashville-based Musicians On Call mission to help bring the healing power of music to patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments. More than one million people across all 50 states have experienced the joys of live music in the hospital setting through MOC's bedside, virtual and streaming programs. MOC Volunteers perform live for children and adults facing any health challenge, including Veterans recovering in VA facilities, family members supporting loved ones in need and healthcare workers caring for patients.
Before Shinedown took the stage around 9 p.m. two other acts performed. Kicking off the night was Nashville's own Morgan Wade. She has received much critical acclaim for her music and is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree - as well as a brand ambassador for Monster Energy and Brooks Running. In her hometown she engaged the crowd with her edgy sound paired with pure raw emotion. Wade wisely used Shinedown's secondary stages to connect with her fans and folks who were there early to snag a spot near the headliner's platforms.
Next was Beartooth founded by frontman Caleb Shomo who in 2013 turned the pain of his struggle with mental health and self-image into relatable songs rooted in hardcore and punk. In the studio he is a one-man band but at the Bridgestone Caleb was backed by a loud and powerful crew. Shomo delivered thrashing yet thought-provoking messages that spoke to many in attendance. Beartooth also made good use of the available staging to punctuate his points. Between sets we did see some folks sporting Beartooth tees proving Forbes prediction that Caleb is "inching towards a tipping point of becoming the latest arena headliner".
Morgan Wade and Beartooth joined the dance party in Music City.
